Arrival at Baltra Airport and transfer in. You must pay your Galapagos National Park entrance fee. One of our guides will meet you and escort you on a short bus ride to the harbour. Here you will climb aboard the yacht.

Highlands (Santa Cruz)

Santa Cruz offers excellent opportunities for viewing wild Galapagos giant tortoises, roaming through pastures in the agricultural zone and in the transition zone of adjacent El Chato Tortoise Reserve.

Tintoreras and Sierra Negra Volcano (Isabela)

You will navigate to Isabela Island and visit Tintoreras islet, known for large marine iguanas. Snorkel in a tidal channel with sea lions, turtles, rays, sharks, and tropical penguins. Tour the Sierra Negra volcano, boasting a vast 10 km-wide caldera. Travel through five vegetation zones and enjoy the harmonious tunes of songbirds along the volcanic landscapes.

Wetlands, Wall of Tears and Tortoise Breeding centre (Isabela)

You will explore the beaches and mangrove forests near Puerto Villamil. Discover secluded pools frequented by songbirds. Visit the Wall of Tears, a historical penal colony memorial. Conclude with the Tortoise Breeding Centre, dedicated to preserving endangered tortoises.

Moreno Point (Isabela)

You will sail to the northwest coast of Isabela, nestled between Sierra Negra and Cerro Azul volcanoes. At Punta Moreno, walk along a solid black lava trail leading to tidal lagoons. Witness marine turtles, sharks, and various birds, including the elegant flamingos. Experience a perfect blend of coastal wildlife and mesmerizing landscapes.

Espinoza Point (Fernandina)

Explore Espinoza Point, Fernandina’s sole terrestrial visitor spot, showcasing unique evolutionary marvels. Marvel at the flightless cormorant, a testament to nature’s adaptability, which traded flight for adept marine hunting skills. Revel in the ethereal views with the majestic Volcán La Cumbre looming in the background, and walk along a solidified lava tongue meeting the ocean.

Tagus Cove (Isabela)

Begin your morning with a scenic dinghy ride, tracing the rugged cliffs of Isabela, keeping an eye out for the tropical Galapagos penguin. Upon reaching the landing dock, embark on a 30-minute hike to the cliff’s summit, granting panoramic views of the evocative Darwin Lake. As you hike, notice the ancient graffiti etched into the rocks, remnants from pirates, whalers, and buccaneers of yore. At the coast, opt for a kayak adventure, delving deeper into this coastal paradise.

Vicente Roca Point (Isabela)

Post-lunch, journey through the Bolivar Channel to Isabela island’s Vicente Roca Point. Feel the resonating roar of waves as you enter a shadowed cave beneath an arresting arch. Nearby, the sunken amphitheatre of the Ecuador volcano paints a grand picture. While the sheltered waters of the coves remain relatively cool, they offer a splendid snorkelling opportunity, teeming with sharks, penguins, puffer fish, and the occasional seahorse.

Pinnacle rock (Bartholomew)

Bartholomew, a young volcanic islet, showcases some of Galapagos’ most breathtaking landscapes. Climb to the island’s viewpoint for iconic views of Pinnacle Bay. Witness the island’s stark beauty: extinct spatter cones, craters, and fragile pioneer vegetation like lava cactus, all beginning life on fresh lava fields.

Sullivan Bay (Santiago)

Sullivan Bay feels otherworldly, a haven for photographers and geologists. Its vast Pahoehoe lava fields, from a 1897 eruption, resemble a lunar surface. Nearby, clear waters beckon snorkelers. Dive deeper to spot marine life: Galapagos penguins, Pacific green turtles, whitetip reef sharks, sea lions, and rays.

Dragon Hill (Santa Cruz)

Dragon Hill is renowned for its rare Galapagos land iguanas and flamingos. Amidst giant opuntia cacti, these species thrive. The scenic hill offers spectacular vistas, including a distinct red lava spout. The area’s saline lagoons, rich in minerals and shrimp, allure numerous seabirds, making it a photographer’s delight.

North Seymour

North Seymour’s unique uplifted terrain is dotted with boulders. It’s a nesting hub for magnificent frigate birds, while blue-footed boobies dance and swallow-tailed gulls nest on cliffs. Despite rough surfs, sea lions frequent its beaches, often seen bodysurfing.

Bachas Beach (Baltra)

At Bachas Beach, the soft white sand is a prime nesting site for sea turtles. Behind this, a brackish lagoon often hosts flamingos and coastal birds like black-necked stilts. The second, longer beach holds historical remnants: two WWII-era barges, left when the USA used Baltra to guard the Panama Channel. Afterwards, transfer from Baltra to Puerto Ayora’s dock awaits. Enjoy this last leg of the Ecuadorian adventure.
